October Headline: Ruby replaces Objective-C in TIOBE index top 10

It was a matter of time. Soon after Apple announced to switch from Objective-C to Swift, Objective-C went into free fall. This month Objective-C dropped out of the TIOBE index top 10.

Wondering why R dropped so much, what are people using for their data analysis then?

Probably some have converted to Python, but most data analysis positions won't necessarily list or require or list R as a skill, learning some data analysis language is the easy bit.

Assembler is the closest to machine code.
