I played it quite a bit long long aggo, like 2003 bouts when it was still Project Entopia or,
good 'ol PE \
/ (everyone always though of Port Elizabeth when I talked bout the game)

Its ok, its not really a game, there is no real questing or such and everything goes arround
you having to put more money into the "game". It is possible to make your own fun though.
Lots of people holding competitions where you could win PED, or you could do some good
'ol roleplaying in one of the city centers.
Lately I only log in to see whats new, run around droping a few probes and bombs to see if
I can find a claim of at least HOF quility, get killed by some mob over and over again while
trying to mind a claim, and log out.
Waiting to see what the CryENGINE 2 update will bring.

Hehe, sounds like you had a lot of fun back then. I actually enjoy it too, but the Sweating the creatures is annoying. Guess I will deposit some cash later to make thinkg a little bit more exciting and less frustrating!

Very true! That is why I shall be depositing $10...should be enough for some hunting equipment.
ye, deposit some, get a weapon and some ammo, or mining equipment and go explore the world 
I think the game is a bit tougher now for new commers. I found that troxes and other real nastys strated showing up in areas where I used to mine in piece, and those creatures run real fast and don't leave you alone once they spotted you
Back in the day I could run around with no armour and explore the whole world long as I ran wide circles around most red dots. The occasional trox red dot would appear and then I'm dead

Hehe, I made a couple of friends this morning and we sweated in groups...that sounds dirty...anyway, was fun, but collecting sweat feels like such a waste of time! I just wish my card would get verified so I can deposit and make some real cash!
I haven't explored beyond Calypso yet, but I do remember some really nasty monsters from when I did way back when. Like Xyber said...then I'm dead.

ya,, since the introduction of the colouring system everything became some shade of
grey untill you recolour it (which you cant do with low skill, meaning, waste money to
buy lotsa paint cans and train or pay someone to do it).. urgh. That jacket in one of the
shots with "agel bunny" is now white !! and worse, for some reason I can't recolour it
I'll prolly get back to this game again. For now I'm quite bussy with a huge project and
when I do get time to game I play a few rounds of TF2 or do an hour or two of PS3 gaming
