I see Pinnacle have a promotion for a Proline LCDTV855-42FHD for R5495.

Anyone know anything about the TV. Is it good.
I have googled, but I cant seem to find any reviews or commentary.

Could you be a little more responsible and not list the supplier selling price of this item? The price is of no importance in your question and is killing the end user market since this is the top Google listing for this particular product. Especially considering that you have listed the ex VAT price but made no reference of it at all. By the way, it is built from Panasonic parts with the Proline tag, which makes it a pretty good quality set. If possible, please remove or edit the post.
