Prolog vs Prolog+

I remember someone mentioning that prolog plus will provide you with 4 logins as opposed to the two logins provided on the normal prolog account. I could be wrong though.

It's so easy to share a connection on a lan, that I don't really see the benefit of 4 logins anyway.

More efficient if every PC has its own IP (which is what the seperate logins imply) because the traffic doesn't have to be handled by one NIC but more than one. Thus if one is not negotiating the web another one can do so. If you share the Internet through one pc with others that one NIC will not work in an efficient way as all packets come to one IP.

Cheers

Cheapest dial-ups you can find.

Use your ADSL login as a normal dial-up from home :-) (Normal Prolog allows 2 connections)

And for another R20 per month you can supply your 2 road warriors with dial-ups so they don't have excuses for not reading e-mail from "base" (Usually home).

South Africa needs World Class Broadband at World Competitive Prices.

Heh?

What would the dialup number be? Ordinary Telkom Internet number?

Yep. I was trying it out yesterday in fact. Then you use your normal DSL login and pass.

I bet that the analogue traffic will be counted towords your cap as well.
