...I've been heavily critical of news groups having financial interests or other motives, that lead to news that is...falsified or misrepresented.

I think all news channels are guilty of this. I've also been critical of people who point out the lies told by only one news group and seem to ignore the lies told by stations that support their pov.

One news group obviously stands out on these forums, Fox News...and they made another boo-boo.

The reason why I am brining it up is I am a little annoyed that they did it in an attempt to insult my favourite politician in the states, Dr no.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/78819.html

Dr Paul won the Republican C-PAC straw poll for the second year running, the first year he won, he got a very mixed reaction (Lots of Romney supporters booing him).

Now Dr Paul isn't very popular with the "mainstream" Republican body, they sterotypical pro-war, pro-police state "conservative" movement. Fox news misrepresented this years announcement of the winner, by replaying last years announcement and then geting Dr Paul to comment on the mixed reactions.

When in fact this years announcement went quite differently and the reaction of Dr Paul winning was qiute positive.

See the youtube video on the link provided above.

Its Fox News, they are like Russia Today, as reliable as the Zimbabwean government.

revenge for Paulians spamming online polls in 2008 :o

Good for him. Now he needs to improve on his +-1% estimated delegate count from 2008 in 2012 and maybe even win a state.....

@Wild_Cat don't bother arguing with Alan when it comes to anything related to the US. Typical US fanboy.

Winning at CPAC is like winning at the Idiot Olympics, except that the latter isn't a vile hotbed of anti-Islamic neo-Confederates.

Well then, how does Ron Paul win CPAC as he is anti-war, pro-market, pro-rights of all religions (Only Republican to visit and talk to members of the Arab American Institute ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98uqcdvv-98 ), said that the guys who wanted to build their mosques near the WTC should be allowed to)... heavily critical of patriot act and all act's that are against the constitution of the US, has a huge pro-freedom base (Libertarians), gets most donations from individuals not companies, has reportedly the 2nd largest support base amongst the youth [Obama is more popular])

He wins by not attending.

All of that is negated by the fact that he embraces the craziness of the Tea Parties.

No he re-started thge noble tea-party movement which was then co-opted by the mainstream republican party peeps riding of off his success.

He supports in principle what the tea-party is suppossed to stand for...not the fact that the mainstream repubs have taken over.

Ron Paul to the tea partiers...

"You’re being taken for a ride.

At least this is what many libertarians like Ron Paul believe when they see someone like Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin trying to lead the Tea Party at the “restoring honor” rally this weekend. In fact, Ron Paul believes, if you’re looking for real freedom, you should really go back to the core of the constitution and the bill of rights, which Beck and Palin do not fully endorse when you really look at their beliefs. Whether it be Palin’s support for starting more wars or Beck’s beliefs on paying the private Federal Reserve MORE interest on our money by means of a VAT tax.

Ron Paul believes in neither of the above.

Here was Ron Paul’s message to the Tea Party via The New York Times just the other day:

“As many frustrated Americans who have joined the Tea Party realize, we cannot stand against big government at home while supporting it abroad. We cannot talk about fiscal responsibility while spending trillions on occupying and bullying the rest of the world. We cannot talk about the budget deficit and spiraling domestic spending without looking at the costs of maintaining an American empire of more than 700 military bases in more than 120 foreign countries. We cannot pat ourselves on the back for cutting a few thousand dollars from a nature preserve or an inner-city swimming pool at home while turning a blind eye to a Pentagon budget that nearly equals those of the rest of the world combined.”

While the Tea Party will be out supporting Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin this weekend, you wonder how many of them will be in full support of more wars and paying more interest to a group of untouchable and unauditable private bankers otherwise known as the FED? This is precisely what Ron Paul is asking the American public to consider when looking at the Tea Party leaders and see if they really stand for what they believe in.

Ron Paul believes the Tea Party is not about “left” or “right” like a lot of political pundits make it out to be. It’s about the constitution, and limited government."

For somebody who has a snowball's chance in hell of becoming president or even winning the GOP nomination he sure does get a lot of coverage.

I'm still wait for a link where I've supposedly praised Fox news.....

Seems it's another lunatic delusion......

You defend by always trying to deflect all criticism of them by posting irrelevant articles on CBS, CNN, etc.
You'd make for a fine politician Alan. True story.

Exposing your hypocrisy is not defending them. I still await the links.....

Just as I still wait for links to most of the garbage that you quote. Or replies to your posts where specific questions are asked. You are capable of running a seminar on "Ducking and Diving 101"

BTW...you know what they say about people who think everyone else is as Mad as a Hatter...
