Jonas Shakafuswa, a deputy finance minister, was quoted as saying there was nothing wrong with parliamentarians from sleeping with call-girls so long as they can pay.

"If you are poor and cannot buy sex, let people with money do that...," Shakafuswa was quoted by the local press

But he apologised:

He later apologised for his statement saying he was drunk.

Drunk! LOL, what a joke.

Looks like these were Spitzer's poorer cousins. Anyway, I honestly don't get the problem with politicians paying to get some nookie. What's the big deal?

... if they were paying with their own money, hey whatever but everyone knows that isn't the case with politicians. Especially here in Africa ... all paid for with tax money.
