Proteas 'may not snub Mugabe'

Would expect nothing less from any government controlled institution from South Africa.

It is inline with 'the collective' as Thabo puts it.

The mob, the triads now the collective.

Does not the word `collective' make you want to hurl?

The whole team should refuse to play Zim. They're a **** side anyway. Proteas would get better quality game playing the Grey 1st 11

'tch. It'd be worth getting kicked out just for the opportunity to spit in his face.

Knowing that ****.... you'd probably end up stuck in a Zim jail for a LONG LONG time... and as alwys, 'our' country would do nothing to help you.

Mmmm.

Online Etymology Dictionary
collective
1520, from the source of collect (q.v.). As a shortened form of collective farm (in the U.S.S.R.) it dates from 1925. Collectivism in socialist theory is from 1880.

So it means much, much more than just "a number of people acting as a group".

Actually, it's quite chilling - and an indication of t-bone's thinking.

I think it should be up to the players whether they shake his hand or not...

This whole dictating you must be courteous and k@k is not on... Esp with that man...

Refuse to go on the tour?
If only

Anyways...
I hereby state that I will not partake of any form of broadcast regarding this tour. Not only that, I also refuse to use any product of a sponsor involved with either team for the next 6 months (yes ... that includes SAB)

... my little protest

That would be ideal Leitmotif, but it would be a stupid career move when considering the fact that to our ruling elite consider MadBob to be just below god status.

Yup... that'll make an impact ;)

Why hasn't the cricket mother body banned Zimbabwe from all cricket competitions?
There's always a chance that the Proteas might shake his hand so long as Zimbabwe remains a member of the Cricket Council.

What amazes me is that the players don't refuse to tour to Zim in protest.

Then again, maybe one of them will get close enough to finish him off with a cricket bat. If I had that chance I'd take it. It would be worth getting shot for.

Who are their sponsors?

By the looks of the list, most of them have operations or their products are sold in Zim, so it would be hypocritical of them to "protest".

Coca-cola and energade are the only ones that matter to me. So, no more Coke for a while. Not that it makes a real difference to their profit lines.
