SAPS and JMPD will be present to manage onsite at these gatherings. Sandton Central team will also be on site to monitor and report.
Avoid, folks.
I'd imagine its difficult to prove in advance that it won't be conducted peacefully so no real option for blocking itum it isn't SAPS that "approve" the Responsible Officer (an official unfortunately in the JMPD which isn't what the Act envisages) can "prohibit" a gathering if it can't be conducted peacefully
presumably - looking at the gatherings involved a big ass section 4 meeting (s4 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act) took place and it was decided to give out a schedule
but then again my views are just that of a "so-called legal expert"

Why is there a US consulate in Sandton if the embassy is in Pretoria.
Consulate is where the most people are (passport applications etc) while embassy is in the executive capital. Why is there a US consulate in Sandton if the embassy is in Pretoria.
