Cape Town - Activists calling for affordable housing in the Cape Town CBD joined thousands of people during a Human Rights Day march to demand justice for one of their own who was stabbed to death.

A security guard believed to be employed by a company contracted by the provincial government to watch over “Ahmed Kathrada House” in Green Point, is alleged to be behind the killing of Zamuxolo Dolophini, known as Rasta.

Rasta was one of about 100 people occupying the building for the past six months because, they say, they are desperate for housing and are tired of living in distant informal settlements and townships.

Reclaim the City on Wednesday said Rasta was killed outside the Helen Bowden Nurses Home building in Green Point at the weekend.

It would be difficult (read impossible) to track every murder in SA, as most aren't reported by mainstream media

None of the murders are laughable. For you guys, some murders are worth more.

Yes, because it affects me directly. I'm a farm owner. Apart from that it should affect you directly too. But I guess you have an agenda to run with so go with it
