Hi,
I play poker online at Full Tilt Poker. Recently, they updated their software and I had a lot of trouble downloading the update. The update wouldn't download. After like a week, suddenly some clog cleared and the update downloaded and installed. Over the weekend I had to reinstall my OS and when I reinstalled the Full Tilt client it obv wanted to update again and I'm back to the same problem. During that whole time I tried over and over to just download the setup file from Full Tilt's site so I could install the new setup with the update since the update wasn't happening, but I couldn't download the setup file either. I just get a sort of proxy cache timeout error page.
I contacted Full Tilt's support and they tell me that the issue with downloading the setup file and the update is proxy related. They say they don't allow proxy connections to their server. I'm with cybersmart and their support say all SA international connections go through a proxy. Is there anything I can do?
It's all kind of strange because the first time the update problem happened it eventually cleared but all the way through I couldn't download the setup file from their site and can't download it now either.
Would appreciate any thoughts.
