I dont know anyone clued up enough to sort this out so Im hoping someone here might know a solution.
I am trying to use my work's internet bandwidth through wi-fi on my iPod Touch. Our firewall is configured to only give internet access to one workstation but I have setup a proxy server on that workstation so we can access internet on other pc's through the proxy server.
My iPod touch however still gets the 403 Access Denied error even with the HTTP Proxy setting correctly configured on my iPod. I am connected via wi-fi to the workstation with internet access by using my nokia E70 as a wifi hotspot through IP Passthrough. Proxy settings on my E70 are correctly setup as I can use my works internet bandwidth through the phone.
Please can anyone help with a solution for this? Everyone here is completely IT dumb and I am running out of hairs to pull out. Thanks!
