Hi All,

I have a problem with my keyboard: every time I start my PC for the first time my keyboard doesn't work. I then have to restart my PC and as soon as it gets to Windows it works again.
I'm thinking it might be related to my motherboard as this only started happening when I bought the new one and installed it. However the keyboard is fully operational during the boot process.
Here are my specs (at least the ones that matter):
Biostar nForce N4SIE-A7 motherboard
Windows XP (with all latest updates installed)
Microsoft Wireless Desktop Pro (keyboard & mouse set)

Any help will be much appreciated

Play with the Power-on-by-keyboard function (sometimes a jumper on the board, close to the connector. See manual)

I know what you're talking about yes. I have the same Package "Microsoft Wireless Desktop Pro" and its annoying. Use the USB to PS2 converter for both your mouse and keyboard, don't plug it straight into the USB.
