Low and behold, it's the first of June today, and PS Store is still offline. So much for the day downloading free games! Sony dissapointed me again.

They have revised the date to 'by end of this week'. And when it gets back online it'll promptly crash as everyone tries to download their free games.

Heard the store is up but they haven't rolled out the welcome back packages.

And we have 30 days from opening to claim our free games. Some of us will spend half that just downloading them!
per master account made before april 20 2011. You can only make 1 master account per ps3 btw.

I hope the "buggy" experience on PS Store is due to the overload of users, however, what does that mean when the free games are available. I see server crash!
so if i had 2 ps3s with one account?
@wasp - at least we can see the store. baby steps. there would be hell to pay if they closed the offer when it was well known people couldn't connect to the store properly to grab the stuff.

Not everybody has to struggle with sub zero download speeds like we do in SA and other sidelined countries. Pissed me off reading some Scottish wop biatching how it took a full 17 minutes to download that famous 1.9GB BFBC2 patch in December before he could play his game as he only has a sucky 44Mb line
