PS3 Connection test - PSN Failed

Hi I was playing Battlefied last night when I got kicked out and it said I've been logged out of PSN. I get an error code 80710016 when I try login to PSN. I can connect to the internet, the browser works fine and the connection test only fails when it gets to the PSN. I've checked the PSN server site and it says everything is online.

Hi so I had solved my problem by simply going through the "setup internet connection" process with everything on automatic. Now all of a sudden this weekend that fix stopped working. I've been trying all weekend to solve it. I've tried literally everything. The internet works fine but the test always fails at the PSN test. I eventually tried using my phone as a wifi hotspot and suddenly everything worked fine and I could login to PSN. So on my laptop I went to the PSN forums to ask for help and when I tried to sign in I get an access denied error with a reference number. If I try with my phone network then I can login fine.

So it seems my IP has been blocked?

Try deleting the PlayStationStore. It’s the very last item under the PlaystationNetwork menu, highlight it, press triangle and select delete. Now just download the application/software once more. For some reason this worked for me

Hi, any luck guys. Been trying unsuccessfully since weekend. Deleted PlayStationstore and still not able to logon. Must admit that since I moved from adsl to fibre I have not logged on to PSN so maybe that's the issue. Any suggestions?
