PS3 connection to linksys wireless g

I can connect to the internet no problem through the linksys modem but when i want to play online i cant is it a setting i have to put in the modem settings. please help

i had the same problem when i set my wireless network to private (which requires a key to enter the network) but when i set my network to a public network my PS3 connected no problem.

go to network settings on your PS3 and see if it can at least listen in on the wireless network
