I am sure you guys know that the batteries inside the ps3 controller cannot be changed
Soooo, that means that every couple of years you must buy a new controll at R500 a pierce:rolleyes:

I don't know of 3rd parties will be allowed to license the "unique" Sixaxis functionality. . .

Did you also know it charges via usb cable to PS3 only. there's no other way to charge it, so if like me your consoles above the TV, you have a fantastic cord in your line of site.

How else do you recharge the other next-gen consoles controllers?

Well if that is their business model then it is highly unlikely that they will ALLOW third parties to make controllers. I however think that third parties will make them and Sony will once again take legal action against people who, while trying to make a quick buck, are also addressing consumr concerns (such as Lik-Sang).

IMO it would seem that once again Sony are intent on completely fcuking the cat on this one!!

Well I use standard rechargeable batteries in my 360 which I charge in the kitchen :p Then yes, there's the play and charge kit, but there's also the option of the stand alone charging dock.

Will it have ports for PS2 controllers?

No, you have to by an adapter for them.

You sure from the pics Iv seen the bluetooth is not built into the console, it has an adapter that fits into a port, the same port that you would normally put an old controller into.

I really dont know about the 6500 price tag, plus the controller, and that ladys is a grand total of 7000.We are getting to the 10000 rand mark if you put other things in the mix like a game, lcd tv,ono its even more
