PS3 Multiplayer Racing

Hi there.

Can anyone give me any idea of car racing games that are multiplayer, ie not lan or internet games but games that allow 4 (or more if possible) four friends to race each other on one console on one screen using different controllers.

The only one I think might work is Richard Burns Rally PS2 which I spotted at my local video rental store. It says multiplayer 1-4 on the box.

Are there any others, any PS3 titles?

I have PS3 Formula One 2006 and it is only 1 player.

actually i really dont know about this hey...Was gt series ever online...I think you can only place your ghostcar circuit there

Come on guys. Surely someone must actually have some "real" actual flesh and blood type non on-line friends they want to race against on a nice social Friday evening?

AFAIk Burnout Paradise City will allow for mutliplayer split screen gaming.. it only comes out towards the end of Jan though.. I'm not much into racing so I can't recommend anything else

Burnout is an awsome series though.

I think Motorstorm? Not 100% sure though.

Think it might be but really my kind of racing. More into technical/realistic type of racing. Maybe i am being hard on the game, whats it like. I saw it being played in a shop and it did not seems very realistic.
