[PS3] Ninja Gaiden Sigma

anybody out there with this game?

I have it and i find it excruciatingly difficult to beat the bosses in this game, takes me like 1hour to figure out a solid kill strategy on any boss

am i insane or is this game hard (on normal mode ofc)

Ninja Gaiden is difficult period, but that's what makes it entertaining.

I havn't unfortunately played Sigma, but did play the first one on Xbox, was good

Ninja Gaidens claim to fame is that it happily turns grown men into blabbing crybabies.

Yes it's hard (I broke down in the first 30 minutes :blush: ) And Sigma is based on the "Black" edition which was extra difficult.

Not owning the previous Xbox, I bought a used copy of NG: Black for my 360 a few months ago. If Sigma is anything like this was I don't blame you for complaining about the difficulty, but once you get the hang of it you'll finish it and move straight onto replaying it on the other difficulty levels.

I have this game and havent played it in months, while I cant say I find the bosses terribly difficult, what really gets to me is the repetitive nature of the game which when combined with the difficulty level of the game leads to frustration. You fight group one of bad guys and lose a third of your health, you then fight group two and lose another third, you then fight group three and barely get out alive, you then fight group four and die (all in all about 45mins play time) you then get sent back to the begining to fight group one again

Havent played Sigma, played the original NG on xbox, was fun yet challenging

It's the first time I played NG in 3d and it wasn't tough. Play it on easy if you're having difficulty.
To get easy, die a few times. Ayane will ask you if you wish to abandon the way of teh ninja at the continue screen. Say yes and the game will proceed in easy.
It's easy but still challenging enough with no deletions from the story whatsoever.

You just need a sharp eye and quick reflexes. That fat boss really gave me a tough time but I learned that each boss has a certain strategy. Find it, exploit it, destroy the enemy.
