PS3 Online Play

Hey everyone. Just wanted to know if i'll be able to play Ps3 online with a 384kbps line? The games i want to play are Unchatred 22 and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.
 
I've got a 384 line and play BFBC2 online without issues (using WiFi). I find the experience way better than my PC, so much so that I no longer play games on my PC.

I will add that I'm using Telkom as my ISP and found it way better than Axxess of Cybersmut for online gaming.
 
I got Do2 - standard 5Gb blended. Also on BFBC2 we play on UK servers and with the expception of 2 incidents, I never once had lag. It was as good as local.

I originally did not believe that I was playing on international its so good.


But if your unsure about experience, just rent the games from your local video store. Damn side cheaper to pay R20 bucks for one day to see if it works than to spend > R400 only to see it sucks.

Too true, i'm the same. Hardly touch my PC. BC2 is much more fun on console.
 
I'm downloading the 1Gb demo for Force Unleashed II as I do not know what to with all bandwidth. I live in fron of my PC / Ps3 between 17:00 - 24:00 each day and still cannot use more than 3Gb a month
 
I use just around 4 gigs a month. For gaming alone, 3 gigs will be perfect. Depending on how much you play of course.
 
Do2 is R260 per month including your 384 line rental. If you don't need uncapped, its the better of the capped service. If you want uncapped, it seems MWeb is the way to go.
 
Has anyone tried mweb uncapped with ps3 online play? I kinda need uncapped...

Same here. I also want to play Ultimate Storm 2. I also have 384Kbs line.

Let me know if you experience any lag etc.

LOL serious? I use 3GB in a day with my 384k. There's just too many games, music, movies and series to download. I'd download 100GB in a week easily if I had 4mbit.

No game maxes out a 384k line. You can play anything out there, console or PC. Just don't bother being a host for more than 1 person, this is where the 12kb/sec upload becomes a problem. 40kb/sec is more than enough for any game, I doubt games even get close to 30kb/sec usage.

I don't download as I got a PVR to record more than I can watch, I buy DVDs all the time and listen to the radio for my music
 
? Most shows don't arrive here the same time. Also, I'd be broke and be on the street if I had to buy about 5 dvd's a day. And radio sucks (for me).
