ps3 overheats

i have a ps3 model cechl04(fat one). it says it overheats less than a minute after switched on. then it turns off. what can be the problem? (i used new thermal paste on cpu's

I just got rid of the dust inside my ps3 it was working fine after that

Clean inside and check the thermal paste witch would have gone hard

i did clean everything and used new paste. most of the times overheats after less than 30 seconds. maybe sensors?

Does the fan still work?

yes fan works. a little while after switching it on fans start to blow hard
