Well you've come up with some remarkable way to play the commentary without playing the movie. On my DVD player it demands to play the movie if I want to hear the commentary. The point is, it's not at the same time as the movie.
It absolutely is.They might come up with a brilliant idea to use the picture in picture for, but using it for commentary isn't it...
I don't know how many PS2s they sell, but they need to be selling PS3s to get games developed for it. Sony did say they were planning to keep the PS2 around for a few years just as they did with the PS1. They continue to make a profit on each PS2 sold, and they'll be making money on the games, but sooner or later no-one will have any further interest in buying a PS2 and its games.Has everyone forgotten that Sony is still producing a PS2 that is still selling well ? Correct me if i am wrong but the PS2 shipped more units than the 360, PS3 and Wii over the US Christmas season.
I don't think they ever made a profit on it.So Sony still has an income source from the last gen system where as MS kicked the xbox to the curb.
I know if I bought a PS3 for R6300 I'll be pretty p1ssed-off right now![]()
Gamespot is reporting that the rumoured price drop from earlier this week is a reality. Starting on July 10th, the current 60GB model will sell for $499. Coming to US shores in August is the 80GB version only available in South Korea at the moment, which will retail for $599. They're bundling that unit with Motorstorm, so it's not just another 20 gigs for $100. "The price drop further indicates that, after a slow start, Sony is now aggressively trying to expand its customer base in the US. The move comes none too soon. According to the latest figures from industry-research firm the NPD Group, the PS3 only sold 82,000 units in the US in May, compared to the Xbox 360's 155,000 units and the Wii's 338,000 units."

What's obvious is that you don't really understand how the feature works and you've somehow never encountered it on DVDs that have it, like Deja Vu.
Getting a Special Edition DVD is EXACTLY why you pay the extra price for deleted scenes, director commentary, etc. Perhaps you are just not the movie type who enjoys the finer details in a good movie?![]()
Commentaries always run concurrently with the movie. You press play and the movie plays, with the commentary, at the same time.it's just stupid having to watch it AT THE SAME TIME as watching the movie.

Was this relative to a timeframe or more units of all time?According to Amazon, the PS3 sold more units than the Wii since the price cut.
Someone please explain that statistic to me:
