PS3 Repairs

Anybody had their PS3 repaired locally? I bought my PS3, used it for about a month, then there were problems with the HDMI port not working.

Took it in for repairs. Been there for a month now, and they say they think they should have stock of replacements in 2/3 weeks. 2 Months to get a PS3 repaired locally at PartServ ?

Is this normal in the local market?

I once took a ps2 back to game cause it started jumping when reading a disk, the policy said if it was'nt back in 2 weeks, i could ask for my money back. I had that playstation for almost a year, so i pretty much had a free playstation.

so anyways,, check to see if you can get your money back,, no ways you can wait that long.

They dont actually repair the consoles. they just give u a refurbished unit. They take all the broken ps3's that they receive and send them to london for repairing.
