ps3 store using local bandwidth???

is it possible to use ps3 store and download stuff using local bandwidth that telkom gives after u get capped?if yes then how??i tried to sign in on ps network but it cant even sign in

You could a while back, that is, queue downloads with international, then download with local only.

You have to add the downloads to your list before you get capped. Then when you get capped and is on local, you will be able to download all the stuff on your list.

Still works for me! Let me try, just in case it changed during the week, I still have a download in queue! YES! Still works fine. Gone from2-3%
The trick is you have to get international cap to sign into the network. Queue all your downloads to download in background. Drop out of Store to Download management. Pause all downloads. Then go back to Telkom local account in router/modem and restart downloads one by one or all at once.
For international cap while Telkom capped, use a Axxess voucher from a Engen garage/Pic and Pay. R70.00/gig. Use as above. The unused cap rolls over for the next time you are capped again.

Queued with Telkom International, tried downloading with Telkom Local-only. Not working...

it should work man. what you do is say "Download in background"
then pause it under Downloads, connect to local, unpause.

Strange. I am now on 50% download with Burnout Paradise demo. Must be some other reason AFAIN they have a local mirror. When I sign it I first get a error and then when I go back in download management it starts automatically. Strange, did you pause and then continue, else it wont work, I think. Only a few minutes left for me then my cap returns.

Cos PSN store doesn't have a local mirror where as PSN Downloads do
WOW its good to get a quick response in here...and yes u guys are right about queing download coz i did that with mgs online demo and it downloaded 100mb from international bandwidth and wen got capped it continued downloading but through local bandwidth.u hardly can do anything with local bandwidth but anyways im getin my 2gb+1gb extra 2mrw so il be playing cod5

Well like me you can now download 30Gig Demos/trailers a month for free (while it lasts)
You will need to login to your router and then change the username and password for your ISP account to that supplied on the voucher

1 Make a backup of the existing settings from within the router configuration page. Give a name like "Telkom normal".cfg
2 Change password and login ISP to Axxess (See voucher for details). Test connection. If working make a backup called say "Axxess+ ......".cfg
If you are not capped dont waste cap on PSN downloads. Either wait till you are capped or buy a local only accout online (transfer cash) from Axxess or another @ R12/gig local.
Then it is eassy to swop accounts by just restoring the required backup you made.
