PS3 Streaming - PS3mediaserver question

Hello.

Downloaded PS3media server last night and got it sorted in 5 minutes. (Went this way as have XP). My question is, other people using this method, say the ps3 upscales the video to HD, or at least better than through PC VGA. I don't have that reaction, and in some cases, it's a little poorer.

FYI, i have an HD tv, and all content i have is either 720p or Xvid. No bad quality stuff.

Is it maybe the settings in PS3MS? Any suggestions?

Xvid is normally 680 x 4something. TV will upscale, but you can set it to original size. Have the same issue....cos it looks a little blocky when upscaled. So either watch it as is, upscale it or try setting HD TV to 720p.

Thanks. Saw it has both original and coded files available. Will set the Tv Ps3 down to 720 and see what happens.
