PS3 - System update.

While performing a system update yesterday, my PS3 got stuck on a system update :erm:. Thankfully, it was only in the process of downloading the update and wasn't applying it. Now I want to rather use a flash drive to be safe. Where do I download the update from? Is it regional? I went to us.playstation.com, for the update, but thought i'd rather double check before doing anything too foolish

The site is correct.....Software is not regional

No nasty region related issues? I know they say it isn't region related but knowing its specifically for the SA PS3 is just that much safer.

I've previously tried that but the site seems to redirect to the usa one for the download anyway??

I normally download to USB stick from sa site and then update like form there. Not sure why you are being redirected.
