PS3 TV Problems.

Hi All
So I recently bought a PS3.

All works 100% on the one TV (Bravia 40 inch).
On the second TV (Hi-Sense 21 inch) it does not work at all. Everything is plugged in as normal but the TV just says "No Signal".
I'm using HDMI for both TV's

Being knew to all of this, I have no idea where to start checking and troubleshooting.

Any ideas

Haven't tested this - Thanks, will give this a go with the DSTV decoder - That's the only other HDMI device I own.

It could be the Bravia is doing 1080p output via HDMI - and when you plug it into the 21" that doesn't support 1080p HD ?

You can try holding your finger on the power up switch / area for a few seconds .. and that should reset the PS3. It'll then try come on with the highest resolution it can detect via the HDMI.

Just a hunch - but a 21" Hi-Sense feels like it might not support 1080p like the Sony.

Haven't tested this - Thanks, will give this a go with the DSTV decoder - That's the only other HDMI device I own.

Get a better quality HDMI cable. PnP sells the Ellie's brand which has always worked for me.

Tried a different cable and it worked.

You cant just switch between tvs on the ps3 all willy nilly.You have to hard reset when you do that.Go read up on it, think its as simply as holding in the middle button while doing something.

That's not entirely true. I've switched between my 24" pc monitor and tv plenty of times with no issues.
I think where the problem comes is when you switch between different interfaces.

For me its true because I own a ten year old 32 inch HD ready and a newer HD smart tv.The 32 inch never picks up the image unless i do this :
