So my ps3 was stolen a while back and i have not missed it apart from streaming and perhaps fifa but now comes f1 2010 and it looks sick.

Anyone know of a bundle with the ps3 and f1 2010?

Where is the cheapest place to get a ps3 from? I phoned rectron they want 3995.00 ex vat which i rate is rather high.

Thank you

Heya Killa,

Currently PS3 120gb slims are going for around R3700 incl. at Game. F1 2010 should be R700, making it R4.4k incl. If Rectron sells the PS3 + game for R 3995.00 excl. then they're still R154.30 more expensive.

If you're not too phased (and if it's available on there) then getting an Xbox might actually be the way. I got an xbox elite + forza 3 & Halo ODST for my buddy on Sat for R2k at an opening launch, but in general they're much cheaper than PS3's & the controllers are way better. (I have both PS3 & Xbox, so I'm not a fan boy to preach)

Or you could try to bid on it @ smokoo.co.za :D

Yea but i am not sure the xbox can stream just about any format easily to my projector like my old ps3 could.

ps3 media server installed and i never had a single problem streaming any format. I have heard people talk about using microsoft media but when i used it man was it rubbish. So i am wanting the ps3 for that aspect as well not just gaming. Maybe i should just buy it for pc and then get a steering wheel :D.

Rectron sell just the ps3 for 3995.00 but mostly their pricing is rubbish anyhow.

dono if they still have this but if you buy a PS3 at photocats digital they sell you one game for R150

I bought my 250GB PS3 two months back on credit on my Telkom account. Paying R165 per month for 36mths. What I like about Telkom is I can easily opt for the longest period and then pay it off when I have the cash. Also interest is worked per month and not in advance so your no "penalties".

What I also do is pay in an extra R200 per month onto my account and once my balance covers the outstanding payments, I just ask them to use that amount.

Dude like your telkom telephone account or what? Can you pay it off in 3 months for instance without any penalties?

Bought my 250GB Slim with Modnation races Sunday @ Game for R3499. It's going on special tomorrow for R3299. I'm still going to fight them later to get my R200 refund. Otherwise I'll repackage my whole PS3 and return it (they have a 7 day return policy no questions asked) and buy it again for R200 less. :)
