Ps4 Controller wont turn on or charge

Yesterday I charged my controller and used it as normal, today its not turning on or charging.

I only charge from the ps4 usb port to prevent damage from a regular charger.

I tried the reset button and a few tricks, even opened it up to check for faults and could not find a fault.

Last resort, needs a new battery which I cant seem to find anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can buy a battery in Durban?

Obvious but did you try a different cable?
