PS4 error deletes game progress, bricks consoles

I fully expect more errors from the PS4 to surface in the coming months, Sony seems to have dropped the ball software wise in the last couple years
 
I've been saving up for a couple of months now and will have enough to buy a console in June, seems it was a good thing to wait it out :)

Links and information please. I would really like to know to prepare myself as my old phat and slim ps3 are still both working flawlessly (touch wood)!

Yeah I'm wondering the same thing.

No issues here with PS3 or PS4.

At least not software...the fan noise is another story and it will be swopped out for that.

I have not found the equivalent of the ability that the square button gives you on the PS3 remote on any other media player

Ps, which of the below qualify as a proper media player

Apple TV
Mede8er
MVix
aC Ryan
Raspberry Pi
Plex

Those are the only ones I've used
