Some notables in there include Play and Resume and Backup and Restore. Can now backup your installed data - digital games etc to an external if you want to maybe upgrade the hard drive or just preserve it for whatever reason.

Can only backup the whole PS4's hardrive to an external, and not individual games.. which is kinda useless to me.

Nope. Still have to use Plex to stream media to the PS4.

Plex works beautifully, just make sure to set AAC audio!Drove me nuts for 30 mins before it worked.
Booting straight into a game is awesome, but sadly with our Eskom, its off the cards forever.

You mean other than instant pause and resume, being able to back up your installed data and profile and then seamlessly restore it to another console or larger drive if you upgrade? Without having to download anything again?
Yea...I guess it does not make any difference.

"Pause & Resume "... Really ? Why anyone would transfer data from one console to another beats me. But hey I'm just a 24 year old guy with other important aspects of life to concern myself.

I did that last week. Sold mine for a profit and bought another one. Restored all my games no problems.
What about the guys with massive game collections? They can easily upgrade from 500gb to 2tb storage now without having to download everything again.
Age is no excuse for ignorance.
