I have. PS4 Pro connected wireless on the 5Ghz band to my ASUS modem/router. This is on a Telkom 10 Mbs uncapped account. The download is around 8GB and the download always starts out pretty decent at 800-900 or even higher Kilobytes/second. After a while though, maybe 20-30 minutes, it stalls and the PS4 displays a message that it is unable to download. I have to restart the process again. Fortunately not all of the previous download is lost and slowly I make progress to get all 8GB downloaded but it is a huge irritation.
Not sure if it is related but I had similar frustration watching Netflix last night. Every 30 minutes the movie would stop with an error related to connection to Netflix. Maybe I need to change a setting that is causing the modem/router to time out after a period of around 30 minutes, even though it is actively downloading? This is a new Telkom ADSL line installation.
Any ideas on where I can look to fix this. I have already set the PS4 to never turn off.
