As anyone who has a playstation know or should know they allow gamesharing. Its been made very stict with the PS4 but there is still some awesome way to get games legally at a very decent price.

The US psn store always have their new and pre-order games @ $59.99 which is already cheaper than ZA prices both in our store and the physical disc copy.

So I'm just posting here to people that might not know on how to get decent games for cheap and still play them on your main ZA psn account.

I decided to just buy all my games this way because it works out cheaper and physical copies I will buy if I see deals or vouchers for kalahari.com or takealot.com

Unlink your primary ZA psnm account as primary by deactivating as primary in settings then PSN.

Create a new US psn account with a random US address. No need to link a US credit card so just skip that section.

Once you created one which you can do from a pc. Go onto your ps4 and create a new user and login to psn with the newly created US psn account.

Go to setting then PSN then the 'Activate as primary' and activate your US psn account as primary.

Thats it all done. All the games you buy on the US account you can download and then just log in and play them with your ZA psn account and get trophies on your ZA psn account.

Best and easiest way to fund your US psn account is by buying prepaid cards on amazon.com

You would need to enter random US address but you would be able to pay with your local credit or debit card. vcpay.co.za also works so if you are scared about using your card online that is also a nice option.

There are some nice deals if you don't want a physical copy for example

new releases would go for $60 which is +-R660

inFAMOUSE First Light is $15 which is about R170 and so is Child of Light compared to our price of +-R260 for the titles.

You could even pay less for the games IF you activate ps+ on the US account and because its linked as primary you ZA psn account would not need a ps+ membership to play online or have the ps+ features because the primary US psn plus account already have that which pretty cool.

Saw some specials on the US psn store. Just posting here for those who have a ps4 and did not know about this that might find it useful. :)

People who are thinking about doing this really need to know the limitations.

Games are not locked to the region your account is from, but DLC is locked to the game from its region. If you buy the US version of a game, for example, you have to buy the US DLC. DLC from the ZA store will not work if you bought the game from the US store, and DLC from the US store will not work if you bought the game from the ZA store.

Would one willingly buy the dlc in the za store?

If people have been using the ZA store and see cheap DLC on the US store for the games they already have, they may buy it and then find out that they wasted their money. I also do not know what the DLC - disc relationship is for PS4. For PS3, even retail discs can only use the DLC for their region. So, if you buy physical games in SA, you cannot use US DLC for them, and vice-versa.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info.
