I bet if Microsoft took that FAQ and answered it for the Xbox one, the PS4 will actually look like the worse console. No external drives? No MP3 support? Sorry but that's not a very useful home media system.
Yes I know it's for games but it's the home media aspect that actually makes buying a console worth it for me. I have a big ass gaming pc so gaming isn't a huge need but still a requirement. At the moment I use my Xbox 360 as a games console (GTA V & Halo
) and a HTPC with using the windows media player app to stream movies and music from my server and it works well.

Learnt the hard way when buying newly launched consoles. Was part of the RROD wave with my Xbox. Now my refurbished xbox refuses to play GTAV. I'll wait awhile before splashing out the cash.
