PS4 Pro resolution

Originally wanted to get an Xbox S, but the exclusives on the PS4 are way better. Have a question about the resolution though.

I have one of those 55" Hisense UHD tv's with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. Would it be worth it to get the pro over the slim in this case? Will the pro output to my tv's resolution or simply revert to 1080p.

The pro supports 4k gaming doesn't it? So games should run at 4k if they are made to.

Should stick at 4k in the main menu but if the game you are playing is 1080p then it will upscale.
