Enhanced PSSR is excellent, really impressed me.

Ghost of Yotei looks crisp, the trackside trees in GT7 are sharp and the Pragmata demo looks phenomenal with the hair tech too.

Looking forward to Pragmata, Saros, Wolverine and of course GTA6. They're all going to look amazing.

RE4 remake and Alan Wake 2 as well.

Happy they improved it so much already and will probably continue doing so
 

Sony's PSN Rebrand Is Well Underway, and the Clues Have Been There All Along​

Sony has apparently informed developers that it’ll be phasing out the PSN – or PlayStation Network – branding later this year, and the evidence has been staring us in the face all along.

When the PSN briefly went offline last night, we turned to the PSN Service Status page for more information, which we noticed has been quietly rebranded to the PlayStation Service Status page.

In fact, if you take a look at that page in particular, it doesn’t mention PSN at all. That’s not how we remember it!

We took a look at the Wayback Machine to find out when this change was initiated, and it turns out all PSN branding was removed late last year.

If you look at the page in October 2025, for example, it was titled PSN Service Status and clearly referred to the PlayStation Network at the top. That was all gone by December 2025.

Yeah the sound track was a game changer, remember the multiplayer split screen at my mates house think I might pull the trigger after payday.

According to French content creator Gyo, retailers have been alerted to an imminent price hike across Sony's entire PlayStation console family, including PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro, and PS Portal. The prices of both the Slim and the Pro would increase by €100, with a higher percentage increase for the former, while the handheld cloud-powered PS Portal would be priced €30 higher than the current price.

The content creator did not mention the PS5 Slim Digital Edition specifically, but if it follows the same +€100 pattern as the other increases, it could be priced at €599.99 with a steep 20% increase.
 
A little late to the party, but I've been busy. :laugh:

Updated my Pro and played some titles with PSSR "2" enabled.

Mind = blown. It is so much better than the initial implementation. I truly feel like the Pro can finally justify its asking price.

I hope a few other companies follow suit and implement a proper PSSR update like CDPR is doing for Cyberpunk (and likely Witcher 3).

A dedicated patch really opens up some opportunities for games with performance issues by reducing the base render resolution, not just making overall image clarity more stable/sharp.

Increased PS5/Pro pricing coming 2 April worldwide, $100 increase for the digital/disc and $150 increase for the Pro, oof.

Better start saving for the PS6
