It's one of the best live service games out there, definitely worth it. Haven't played recently myself though

I got my hands on a copy of Astro Bot and it was an awesome game. I can see why it won game of the year in 2024. Highly recommend it if you are into platformers.

There was so much love that went into that game. Wife was completely hooked on it. Hands down deserved to win GOTY.

Sums it up well. GoT is the best samurai game.

GoY is a great one-woman-army game with tons of weapons, a good revenge story and far better graphics.

They're both great. The set pieces and production values of GoY are higher, like the cinematics, audio etc. are really good, it's just that it's a bog standard revenge story, and Atsu is kind of whatever. GoTs story of defending your homeland from Mongols feels more badass.

Maybe it’s just me. I’m going HellDivers 2 a go right now. But other than that and GoY? Which I might not get. What else is there? I’m not in the loop unfortunately.

Yea there's loads coming out from now till GTA, for me the highlights are:

* Wolverine
* GoY DLC
* Castlevania
* No Rest for the Wicked
* Phantom Blade 0

Definitely ain't gonna get time to play all of those but..

Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Wasn't on my radar till I tried the demo and loved it.
The Blood of Dawnwalker looks like Witcher-lite.
Control Resonant looks like Saros but with melee.
Ace Combat 8 looks great.
Silent Hill Townfall is intriguing as they're doing first person for this one.
Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy is in a couple weeks too although I think that will not sell as much.

All of those look great as well lol, especially Onimusha an Control. Will pick them up down the line for sure
