Sony hasn't been JP owned for a very long time now.

Aai jaai. The shareholders may not be majority Japanese, but the execs certainly are.

Days Gone 2

Some games are better not made. Days Gone was nothing more than "alright" for me. The rest though, I agree.

And as for those 3 AAA games you mentioned - you do realise the cost of them these days?

You yourself argued that these sort of titles are drawcards for the console and the "health" of it. I bought a PS4 for an exclusive. I bought a PS5 for an exclusive. I am sure millions have done the same. The cost shouldn't matter to the console owner, that is a matter for Sony to handle.

Not arguing. But Sony gets crapped on for spending 200M dollars on Spiderman, and then crapped on for not spending....

I should have added that these games take years to develop these days - and Sony does have finite resources. ANd who knows what is secretly under development or being considered?

On the other hand, even if there had been zero exclusives this gen, I still would have bought the PS5 for the improvements over the PS4.

And I actually still have a lot of exclusives to play. D4 and Borderlands 4 are time-sinks.
