Not to be funny here, but why did you buy the Sony Pulse 3D headset when you already have more expensive headphones?

Because the reviews were quite positive, and it has a built in mic should I want to play with folks online. The RS 175's do not have any mic capability.

I know the Dualshock has a mic, but I succumbed to the "I want it" fever....

Was actually thinking of getting a pair, just to check out the Tempest 3D engine.
 
Anyone know if there is a pre-order out for the digital version? On BT-games they only have the disc version. Would appreciate the heads up. Thanks

I've been reading some negative reviews about the 'louder than normal' noise from the disc drive. Any owners of the console version here confirm/comment on this?

No issues on my side. My machine is as noisy as a shy lump of rock.

Does anyone have any advice on a good monitor for the PS5? Or if there is already a discussion for this could you please share the link.
 
Hi I've read SA is getting restock in March. Where's the best/most reliable place to purchase PS5 online? From the looks of this thread it seems like Koodoo might be a good choice?
 
BT Games has pre-order page open, but you have to pay to secure your pre-order. I'm interested but they've got tons of bad reviews on HelloPeter which makes me scared.

Nothing wrong with BT.

Also nobody ever takes the time to write a compliment on HelloPeter. You only find people there when they want to resolve a complaint...

I bought my PS4 Pro from them, they are fine. Was going to buy my next console through them but when I went to my nearest branch they had shut down. I did place an online order through them years ago and had no issues. I would be willing to order through them again.

Confession time.

Used them again today, and found out there is some relationship with the mic/gaming button when it comes to the volume buttons as well. I may just have been being a dumbass. So the volume is actually very adequate.

The sound though, is not the same as the RS175's. A wee bit more blurry, or, as you say, "muddy". Having said that, I cannot truthfully compare a set of headphones costing twice as much (and running through an AVR) with a standalone bluetooth headset.

So, not to bad imo, right now.
