And gone now. I got one from Takealot. Which will arrive later then this one by the looks of it. Such a big mess...
 
Yeah, there have been no digital versions available by the looks of it. Makes no sense. Maybe for every 10000 disc versions, there is 1 available? The odds don't seem that good

When I did see it and tried selecting it, it said after 17th/18th I think. Somewhere around there. No specific date but it seems that they were able to get their hands on the second batch for mid December. Takealot already done the pre-orders for them a while back. I believe I purchased the 3rd batch coming to SA or something.

I did mine in store. Call your local BT Games and find out if they have the in store preorders available.
In Somerset Mall in Cape Town, I got here about 20 minutes ago and I was the first to get my in store pre order. There should be about 4 left.

I ordered mine already from Takealot. Going to have to wait it out.

But for anybody else who wants, this is definitely good advise. Hard to find info on how and where to get a console right now.

Will a PS5 purchased in the UK and brought to SA work fine this side?
Will there be any issues with registration etc?

Will work just fine. Both countries use the PAL system. Of course warranty will probably be an issue.

All I know is that you can't bring a US Xbox or Playstation here as it doesn't work. Games are different etc. Due to the NTSC / PAL thing. Maybe that has changed. I stand to be corrected though.
 
Dont think it makes much diff now.

It always worked. The issue was finding games for your system.

It's a thing of the past anyway. And even if it was still an issue, digital downloads would have negated it...
