I have the disk version and my bro and I take turns in buying games on PS5 as we both aren’t heavy gamers.

So my 2cents. I still like the disk version.

Luckily we both like the same genre so it’s easy.

If you went digital you wouldn’t need to take turns.

You could both play it at the same time.

Being delisted from the PS store does not necessarily mean that digital owners no longer have access to them.

These are all very good reasons to game on a PC. Sony can stop making physical PS5s rendering your collection useless, but PC is forever.

Physical media back in the day was awesome, because of all the other cool stuff that came with it. Collectors editions weren't even a thing, it was just standard.

Reason 1. These games simply no longer exist on the Playstation store. Physical copies still exist.

That only means you can't buy them, delisted games can still be downloaded and played if you own them you simply cant buy them anymore same goes for Physical, if the physical game is not in the store you cant buy it.

But for both, there is always Roms & emulation.

Edit: The real problem is not physical vs digital, Its Games vs Game as a service.
When game as a service goes offline it cheers, no matter if you have a physical copy or not.
