PS5

In December I serviced my PS5 (launch day edition), as I felt it was starting to overheat. In the process of moving, refitting and what not, I broke the horizontal stand. Also ended up getting a Pulse Elite headset, however with the Nacon controller and Pulse Elite both having their own USB dongles, the Nacon interfered with the headset, with constant disconnects. Interim fix was to move the Pulse dongle to a different location with a USB extension cable.

I ordered this bad boy to replace the broken stand, and with that comes a couple of "location split" USB ports.

It was delivered today, and I am quite excited to see how it performs.
Ok, so this thing is a game changer for my setup. I went from this (with constant disconnects on the PS Link)

To this (with no disconnects in the 2 hours play window last night - previously I would get disconnects up to 8 times per 30 minutes)

I use the Nacon Rev 5 Pro, which doesn't require dongles, as it uses the same connection as an original controller.

No disconnects ;)

Still hoping to see the Rev X in SA some day...

Edit: Scratch that.... just ordered

Shut the F up ... I have the same controller. How do you use it without the dongle?

You know the most ridiculous thing about this is that Sony's OWN tech still comes with USB dongles to start with.

The third parties I can somewhat excuse but even that is a bit bullshit...it's 2025/6 ffs.

Agreed, this PS Link nonsense must stop. I have 3 of them now :)

And I also seem to remember they are locked to that hardware? So if it dies you are ****ed.
No, that is fortunately not true. I had faulty unit out the box (something loose inside) and got sent another one. Simple pairing as if it was BT headsets to a phone,

That’s good then, must be thinking of another setup.

Quick question; is everyone running a 4K QLED with 120Hz TV.

Just looking for "affordable" suggestions for a 55 inch TV with true 4K QLED and 120Hz frame rate capability for the PS5 PRO

A very quick Google search brought up this Xiaomi A Pro 4K 120HZ QLED 55-Inch Google Smart TV as a budget friendly option ?

Although TBH 4K and 120Hz is a bit of a gimmick, most PS5 games can't technically do it. At best you'll probably get 1440p at 120Hz.

Unless you're looking to future proof, in which case better TVs will be out by then...

Precision and controller dont belong in the same sentence.
If that was the case aimbot aim assist wouldnt be a thing.

LOL. Game developers decide to us aim assist, it has nothing to do with the controller. The Nacon is definitely a precision controller. Play PUBG and you will see, no aim assist
