Unconfirmed reports regarding the DRM issue, Sony hasn't said anything about it so far. Seems like its a bug of some sort after the new system software update.

Seems it maybe true, but funny how they were the ones to give Microsoft crap about it when they wanted to implement this, but now Sony is like heeey lets do it. Goes back to this generation sucks

This is not remotely the same as what Xbox tried to do, more than a decade ago when people still bought mostly physical they tried to DRM even that, so chill out with the silly victim mentality.

Besides, this is probably something to do with people abusing the refund system, and stopping an exploit. But of course people are addicted to bad news so gotta make a big deal out of nothing

Called out on what? Sony is implementing DRM, they were quick to call out Microsoft back in the day, now they are doing something similar... Is it my fault you're all testy about it? Take it up with Sony

Like Prod said, its not nearly the same as what MS did but mostly to do with people abusing the refund system again, as Prod pointed out, maybe this will clear up what is actually happening

So why not sort out the refunding problem? Steam has been doing this thing for nigh on 20 years, you've got a few hours.

They did! When you purchase a digital game it comes with a 30 day license which you will need to connect to the internet to verify but after 14 day from the date of purchase (PS refund period), the 30-day license gets replaced with a permanent license that doesn't require you to verify. Thats how they closed the loophole that some people used to get free games by exploiting the refund policy.

People lost their minds for COD's 300m loss on the Green side.

Sony didn't even officially confirm that their games is no longer going to PC, and we supposed to believe that the 2% they made off the ports means nothing???? After this????

Someone please make it make sense

Say what?

Not sure why this is a surprise - it's been known for a while now that Sony had an epic timing failure when they bought Bungie (for 6 billion, I think it was) just before the games active-player membership died quicker than the grammar in Lostboy's post.
