While I've never played a GTA game really, and also have shifted from buying physical disks to the ease of digital downloads, I do think it is a really sh%tty move. Just shows how big corporates are treating consumers more and more like a mindless-herd of profit.

But unless the fans push back, they won't care. And as the fans have been screaming and drooling for years over GTA 6, they will simply bend over and spread their cheeks.

And then other publishers will do the same, as the precedent has been set.


And lets not forget the precedent being set of an extra $10 for a AAA release.

Never played a GTA game in my life either, but Sony seems to going all out on this game, I logged into PSN and bam! A whole banner ad in my face. I get the hype, but there are plenty of other game I'm looking forward to.
 
I enjoyed the single player campaign in GTA V. It was good. I think 6 will be good as well. But these Rockstar moves are putting me off.

But I know for sure they will make huge bank regardless.

I never actually ever finished GTA5's story, had a blast just doing openworld stuff though.

Lack of anything it seems really. Has placed a real damper on my excitement factor. I was hoping for at least a map and if we were lucky, a poster. Even had some hopium left for a midnight release. Had my routes planned out and everything. Need to relive my youth here

Ditto. I find myself doing a mission and then getting distracted. But will sit down and finish it in the weeks leading up to the release.

Last few months are all focused on bugs and optimization. I feel that it's very marginal to hit 60fps.
If they were confident in 60fps then Sony would be advertising that it plays in 60fps on the Pro.

If it's only 30fps with PSSR I'm good with it.
