I expected numbers to dwindle because of the rollout of Fibre and LTE. With better bandwidth, I assumed more people would just stream rather then download. But i guess maybe not then.

Latest brit tv shows you can't stream. Not legally anyway. Usenet has them within a few hours of premiering on BBC / ITV.

I been on fibre for 18 months. My connection has only been down once. Its a lot more stable then anything telkom would offer. But yeah, having a download can be convenient in that scenario. I can also fallback onto MTN Mobile data, i have the 50gb back friday special.

The streaming service I refer to is as legal as usenet downloads.

But i understand the use case. I loved using sickbeard with nzbs - having your downloads fire off automatically was very cool.

Yup no guarantee on the quality of the stream you getting - can be awesome or terrible, even the wrong content

i use sonarr/radarr still. I have a netflix account that i never use. its all automated from sonarr to google drive to plex.

Sonarr suddenly unable to connect to uTorrent - had not changed any of the settings prior to it giving it any issues.

Deleted the download client in Sonarr, not unable to add back.

Error:

Unknown exception: Unable to connect to uTorrent, please check your settings

Even enabling guest account in uTorrent WebUI, and testing same in Sonarr still doesn't work.

Edit. Changing Localhost to 127.0.0.1 seems to work now.

That's me. I stream enough that I now just go manual when I need to download, as I'm doing it a lot less. And I only have Netflix. Lotta people I know have Netflix and Amazon at minimum.
