PSA: Sickbeard is out, Sonarr is in.

SAB should just extract to a folder. Sonarr will handle the renaming and movement to final folders etc depending on your setup. This is done however through api. Check that Sonarr has a full access api to your SAB.
 
Which is the best to use for post download handling?

Im using sonarr and SBAnzbd.

Tried chaigng the settings on sonarr but its not saving :( so atm im downloading episodes double) and not getting updated


tried everything.

Any help?
 
Configuring it properly is best? Maybe post what you've done with the configuration.

im still on openelec (so i have discovered thats now librelec). this setup has been seemless for so long now. but now i need to find another solution.

another solution is win 10 barebones. install kodi. then sonarr + sab + couchpotato

but i really prefer the openelec setup. hoping i can still maintain a pure media server setup.

Can someone help me please? I think I missed a setting somewhere in SABNZBD or Sonarr.

My folder structure is e:\Media, where my complete and incomplete folders are for SAB.
In my "Complete" Folder, I have more folders; Software, Series, Movies and Audio.
I did a test download yesterday on Homeland where my episode was moved into the series folder, where a Homeland was created, a Season 7 folder within that, and the actual episode inside that folder. This is what I want and how it is supposed to work.


I then started downloading the other episodes but what happens now is that the downloads remain in the "Complete" folder instead of in the Series/Homeland/Season 7 folder.

I know I am missing a setting somewhere, but what is it?

Did you do all of this through Sonarr or did you manually add any files?

That's why I asked if you manually added the files, meaning you added the NZBs to SABnzbd.

Just add something new from your Sonarr and then go to your SABnzbd and check that the category is set, the only reason I can think of that it would be in the root folder is because the category is not being set.

I just added Billions Season 3 and it has the series tag. I pray it works when it is done downloading tomorrow.

Also while we're here, you probably have a modern TV or some sort of media player, X265 is a thing you should look at, that top download of yours, the exact same one but the X265 version is 4GB smaller at 677MB.
