I am using the O so wonderfull 3G special package from mtn. Used to be on ADSL , i moved and the short term solution was to go with 3g instead of waiting for months for adsl.
Not to bad, bandwidth is expensive so whats new with mtn.

So i get the bill, R153 for PSD calls. What a bloody rippoff. I pay for bandwidth and will bloodywell use it for whatever i want to. Why the hell am i being billed for voip calls. The only reason i see here is that just like with telkom they are ripping us off.

How long are we as consumers going to take this nonsense. Why should be continuously be ripped off by companies while the fat cats argue over whos going to get what shares in what telecoms company. Why the hell cant we have reasonable prices for telecommunications.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

A PSD call doesn't neccesarily mean it was VOIP, it means you were charged for additional data over and above your data bundle.
Did you maybe exceed your data limit?

I did in fact go over my limit but however i did pay for an additional dat apackage. Friends of mine got billed over R300 for PSD calls. When you log in on mtn active you can even view the times for the calls. After an argument with mtn they came back and appologised to my firends for the error and said that its an technical error. They cannot bill you for voip when on the 3g data package.

They gave them credit.

People should check their bills.
