PSG challenges govt on crime

It points out that the advent of democracy had been good for the company and that PSG and its people have prospered. The group says it and its subsidiaries have created more than 3 500 jobs and one group company - Capitec Bank - continues to employ and train more than 50 people per month.

However, PSG laments the violent crime that has affected its people and companies. "Only last week a colleague was not only assaulted and robbed, but burnt to death," reads part of the letter.

Good on you PSG. It's nice to see large corporates now starting to take a stand. It is the only way that things can be fixed....

Well done to them, wondr how long it will take for this gvt to clamp down on free speech. It is coming very soon.

Gvt were too slow in shutting this one down if you ask me.... There is going to be a groundswell of response to this, and they will have to do something.. Enough is enough now and alot of the the citizens feel that way.

Yeah, I saw that one. Good timing on their part, riding as it does on the back of the FNB furore..... a few more in similar vein and just maybe the message will finally get through...
