Sucking fanboy troll! Just like your nick, Fade! I hope the hackers visit Xbox next. Do not count that out.

No, not really, the only reason is that the hackers so far did not feel as much obliged to cripple Microsoft yet as they did Sony. Some time in future they will find an excuse worthy of their criminal low life cause.

PS: I might as well get a Xbox at some time, as soon as they start developing real exclusive games for the platform.

PS3 System Software Update

If using a PS3, your password can only be changed on your own PS3 (or a PS3 on which your PSN account was activated), as an added layer of security. If you have never downloaded any content using your account on the system, an email will be sent to the registered sign-in ID (email address) associated with your account when you first attempt to sign-in to PSN. This e-mail will contain a link that will enable you to change your password. In this email, click on the link and follow the instructions to change your password. Once you have changed your password you can sign-in to your account using your new password.

Some really idiotic comments about serious security breaches of key environments. All environments are constantly under some form of attack to identify holes, then exploit the vulnerability identified. Unfortunately PSN was breached & the end users badly impacted through not just data theft but major interruption of service. From a business & reputation point of view Sony has suffered badly & it's not ok for any fanboy of one or other console to wish e.g MS, to also suffer breaches. This is serious breaches with a profound impact on the way online services are gonna be provided in the future. Expect corporate style security to be introduced to just enjoy PSN or Xbox live. On another note, Perhaps in this Internet connection dependent age it's better to have more than 1 console in case of any downtime if online play etc is a must!
