So I came across this on Youtube and seems like people are creating a PS account that's registered as being in Turkey to get Ps+ and games cheaper. Has anyone tried it?

Doesn't work , tried it.

You can't even get PSN vouchers
Psn voucher aren't sold in Turkey so wouldn't be possible to top up. How did you try to pay? With a South African credit card?

Surely it's better to open a Malaysian, Indonesian or even Lebanese account and buy those codes?

How are the rand prices in those countries for a ps+ subscription? Why these countries?

I just pulled some countries on the same economic tier as South Africa. They may be more affordable than us.

When it comes to games variety, I'd think an Asian - Hong Kong or Taiwan account would be good for English Asia games, games not released in US/EU but available in English.

Theres a video I watched on Youtube and the guy is from one of the Asian countries but he bought games on the Turkish store. The Turkey, Argentina and Brazilian stores seem to be the cheapest

That's fine but Turkey does not sell PSN codes.

Brazil does have PSN codes you can purchase online, eg here:

Those are some crazy markups on the Brazilian voucher. Also 5 times the original price.

I found the site buy sell vouchers that would activate the ps plus on a Turkish account.

You need to go with what works best for you. :)
