Does anyone know of a good replacement battery option for the Sony PSP 3000? I see that Takealot have two options but no good ratings. Just wondering if someone replaced a PSP battery which he is happy with?

Hello.

Not to sure where you are located but I bought a battery for my PSP from Paycheap.co.za.
They have a store in Cape Town and I took my PSP there. It cost me R150 to have them replace the battery but that was also about 2 years ago...I think

Great will look into that. Did the battery last atleast a few months :)

I bought one of those batteries from Takealot, the mAh advertised is utterly false as it lasts far shorter than my original that still works to this day, and it doesn't even fit properly. I only carry it for an emergency boost of juice but wouldn't rely on them.

I have not replaced it yet but neither I or the kids use the PSP often. It is more of a road trip device

I might try the Paycheap ones then. Otherwise Amazon.

Only one i could find, lasted about 6 months before it started to swell
